Hamden, CT— Arts for Learning CT (AFLCT) is thrilled to announce a $100,000 grant from the Pincus Family Foundation to support its mission to inspire young people and expand their learning through the arts. This grant, which provides general operating support for two years, marks a significant increase from previous years and underscores the foundation’s deepening commitment to arts learning in Connecticut.

Since first supporting AFLCT in 2022 with a $15,000 grant, the Pincus Family Foundation has steadily increased its investment in the organization, awarding $35,000 and then $50,000. With this gift, it is now doubling that amount to $100,000. With this generous funding, the foundation has become a major partner in AFLCT’s health and success and a sustainer of its mission to provide transformative arts learning experiences to students across the state.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Pincus Family Foundation for their unwavering support,” said John-Michael Parker, Executive Director of AFLCT. “Their generosity has allowed us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and ensure that every child—regardless of background or circumstance—can access the power of the arts. This investment is a testament to the value of our work and the growing need for creative learning opportunities in Connecticut schools and communities.”

The Pincus Family Foundation is dedicated to improving children’s and youth’s lives through health, education, and creative engagement. Their continued partnership with AFLCT enables the organization to sustain and grow arts-integrated learning programs, professional development for educators, and community arts initiatives that make a lasting impact.

AFLCT is Connecticut’s leading nonprofit provider of arts learning programs, serving schools, libraries, and community organizations statewide. With the support of partners like the Pincus Family Foundation, AFLCT continues to champion the role of the arts in fostering creativity, social-emotional learning, and academic success for over 65,000 students each year.
