Brian Penry

Owner, Penry Creative – A multi-faceted artist, Brian works as a designer, writer and brand strategist—focusing on the arts, education, media and non profit organizations. His clients have included Carnegie Hall, The Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam), The Bolshoi (Moscow), Carmen Sandiego, Sesame Street, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, NBC, CBS, Sony, Viacom and Special Olympics International—among many others.

Formerly Vice Chair, Brian plays a hands-on role in the marketing of AFLCT including the development and maintenance of its online presence.

Brian also serves with The At-Risk Boys Fund of The Community Foundation of Middlesex County. Additionally, he specializes in working with educational and nonprofit initiatives in places as geographically diverse as Mississippi, Sub-Saharan Africa, Cambodia and beyond.

Brian contributed to the Amazon Best Seller, 42 Rules for Creating WE (2009)—edited by Judith E. Glaser, Foreword by Angela Ahrendts, formerly CEO, Burberry/currently Senior VP, Apple. Brian also collaborated with Anne Thomas of Sendai, Japan, designing, editing and writing the Foreword for Letters from the Ground to the Heart (2011). Proceeds from sales of ‘Letters’ benefit survivors of Japan’s catastrophic 3.11.11 earthquake and tsunami. He is currently working on a book of his own.

Brian is the father of two adult children and is married to handmade paper artist, Chris Penry.
