Communications Strategist, Published Writer and Professional Speaker – Anne has held leadership roles in corporate communications with several Fortune 100 Companies, notably General Electric. While at GE, she served on the Global Board of Directors for the company’s volunteer organization and advised the regional chapter of the Women’s Network.
Anne’s book, Press Pause Moments: Essays about Life Transitions by Women Writers received a Clarion Award in 2011. As an author, editor of several anthologies and contributor to numerous magazines and blogs, Anne brings a writer’s perspective to the Board of Arts For Learning Connecticut. — Read more

Angela C. Scipio, MS
Associate Academic Program Manager, Post University, CIS Department—Angela manages Computer Information Systems at Post University, Waterbury, CT, hiring, training and monitoring Adjunct Professors. She is also responsible for developing and maintaining current and future CIS-related curriculum at Post.

Owner, Penry Creative – A multi-faceted artist, Brian works as a designer, writer and brand strategist—focusing on the arts, education, media and non profit organizations. His clients have included Carnegie Hall, The Van Gogh Museum (Amsterdam), The Bolshoi (Moscow), Carmen Sandiego, Sesame Street, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, NBC, CBS, Sony, Viacom and Special Olympics International—among many others.

Lorraine Consiglio, MBA
Assistant Director of Global Security, Cigna – As a member of the Cigna Global Security Team, Lorraine shares responsibility for the physical security of the Cigna population and company assets. In addition to engaging in executive protection, facility security surveys and business continuity planning, she designs and delivers security awareness education programs, influences security policy and practices, and investigates reports of criminal behavior in the Cigna workplace and community.

Amanda Aromatici, MFT
Marriage & Family Therapist – Amanda obtained her Masters of Family Therapy Degree from the pioneering program at Southern Connecticut State University—where she also became Assessment Certified. Amanda is currently the Primary Therapist at a mental health residential treatment center for adolescents. She has extensive experience working in both private and state clinical service programs with children and families.
Amanda approaches her work systemically, and is empathetic and creative in working with all aspects of an individual’s life. Her systemic thinking also gives her a comprehensive overview of AFLCT and its operations. — Read more

Manager, Claim Finance, Travelers Insurance Company – Matthew puts his financial acumen to work on behalf of the Property Claim Center at Travelers. Among other things, he is responsible for working with leadership to determine the annual budget, quantify project costs and conduct competitor analysis—as well as for financial modeling, reporting, and identifying and deciphering trends.
